2026 Concert Schedule

First Congregational United Church of Christ welcomes you to our free concert series, second Saturdays all summer long. Bring a chair and join us for live music on our outdoor stage at 128 South Bostwick, in Downtown Charlotte.

Saturday, June 13

5pm – Fresh Pict

Fresh Pict is a Celtic trio delivering an authentic, high-spirited mix of sea shanties, drinking songs, ballads, and haunting airs — all woven together with the stories and history behind the music. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a first-timer, their warmly engaging performances are guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

6pm – Baseline Band

The Baseline Band brings the best of four decades to every stage — classic rock favorites spanning the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s that’ll have you singing along before the first chorus ends.

Saturday, July 11

6pm – John Nulf

John Nulf is a local acoustic singer-songwriter and a leader for our new Contemporary Sunday Worship service — bringing warmth, authenticity, and a heartfelt musical touch to everything he performs.

7pm – Charlotte Community Jazz Ensemble

The Charlotte Community Jazz Ensemble is the jazz arm of Charlotte’s own Charlotte Community Band, bringing swinging, polished jazz to mid-Michigan stages and festivals. The ensemble performs everything from classic big band standards to contemporary jazz, and has been a favorite at community events across the region.

Saturday, August 8

6pm – Open Mic

Think you’ve got what it takes? Come on up and show us what you’ve got! Whether you’ve been playing for years or just want to give it a shot, this is your time to shine. No pressure, just good vibes and a crowd that’s already in the mood for great music.

7pm – 100 Proof

100 Proof is an acoustic duo featuring Morgan Englehart’s powerful vocals and percussion alongside Eric Strayer on vocals and guitar — covering all your favorite hits from the ’70s to today.

Featuring BBQ with all the Fixin’s

In keeping with tradition, our August concert will feature fresh hot Barbecue – pulled pork, brisket, and ribs – as well as beans, slaw, and cornbread. Come get your fill while you listen to the music, or just grab some take out.
