Commons Concert: Fresh Pict

Opening Act takes the stage at 5 pm followed by Fresh Pict at 6 pm.

The 2025 Concert season starts with an Irish flair.  Fresh Pict is known for its lively rhythms and distinctive melodies. The group’s name is derived from Pict, a group of late Iron age and early medieval Celtic people. Their music reflects the unique history and emotions of the Celts using instruments like the tin whistle and uilleann pipes. Local musicians Patrick DeWitt, Maria Davis, and Kurtis Young weave a tapestry of storytelling preserving the Irish immigrant spirit through music.
