The Senior Choir and Celestial Bell Choir of the Charlotte Congregational Church will be presenting their year-end concert on Wednesday, June 13th at 7:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this free hour-long concert and stay for refreshments afterward.

Another school year is quickly coming to a close, and another year of enthusiastic bell ringing and choir singing is also coming to a close.  But before we say “Adieu” for the summer, we’d like to share our favorite anthems and bell pieces with you in our annual end-of-the-year concert.  So please join us!

As usual, we will be singing some of our favorite Advent/Christmas anthems, including the meditative “Peace, Peace” with Silent Night sung by the congregation (we want to hear your voices!).  We’ll also sing some of our favorite Lenten/Easter anthems.  Also included are some upbeat spirituals, the Celtic-inspired “Gentle Voice”, and our favorite Thanksgiving anthem, “All Good Gifts.”

The Celestial Bell Choir will also be playing two favorites: “Here I Am, Lord,” and “Siyahamba”—also known in our hymnal as “We Are Marching in the Light of Love”.

So please join us, and bring your friends!       We hope to see you there!

The concert is free and open to the public. “Come join us and bring your friends!” says Ramona Kime. The church is located at 106 S. Bostwick in Charlotte (at the corner of Lawrence Avenue and Bostwick).
