The Church as Educators group is hosting a new Lenten event this year. We’ve invited some talented members and friends of the church to show you how to make a signature dish:
March 6th : Gluten-free Vegan Banana Bread, by Suzie Skougard
March 20th: Baklava, by Mary Kohmuench – To be rescheduled
April 3rd : New York Style Pizza, by Matt and Amy Slot – To be rescheduled
These are hands-on classes designed for novice and experienced bakers alike. Come learn how to make a tasty treat, have fun with friends, sample what we’ve made, and best of all, we’ll handle all of the kitchen prep and clean up! When you leave, you’ll take home the class recipes, all the treats you made, and a great story to share with your friends.
Classes are Friday nights at 6:30pm, and run approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Pick your favorite, or come to all three. Light snacks will be provided.
Registration is $25 per person per class, to cover the ingredients and kitchen supplies. Proceeds will go to the Church as Educators group. Members and friends of the church are welcome. Space is limited, and the sign-up sheets are downstairs in the Bess Fulton Room. Please contact Matt or Amy Slot if you have any questions.
