Walk for Warmth is a volunteer community effort to assist low-income families with their heat-related utility bills.

This event is sponsored by the Capital Area Community Services, and all funds raised through Walk for Warmth go to directly assist those who otherwise may not be able to heat their home. Additionally, all funds raised in Eaton County are only used to assist those who reside here. Continue reading

It began as The Mitten Tree. Outreach Board decided they wished to keep the giving tree concept growing. January 2019 we are requesting sheet sets and small size men’s jeans for the ECFC, waist sizes 28 to 34, and February and March will be a bedtime theme of kids pajamas/books/sheet sets/toothpaste and brushes –use your imagination!
