The long awaited coffee cup/juice glass rack is here. The rack will replace the kiosk in the Bess Fulton Room and also provide storage for people to store their drinking vessels for reuse. The Green Team organized and encourages this project to cut down on the use of plastic and styrofoam at Coffee Hour. Join us January 12 and share your story of your favorite mug. It began as The Mitten Tree. Outreach Board wished to keep the giving tree concept growing. January collection will be sheets and towels, February we are requesting jeans, especially large and small sizes. In March we plan to once again assemble shoeboxes of games, toys, small individual wrapped snacks for our “Shoebox Ministry”. Shoe boxes are entertainment for children not lucky enough for a family vacation over spring break. Continue reading
