When faced with a loss, it is never easy making all the adjustments to your new life. Grief is something we will all face in our life and while it is unique to us, there are many things we share with others who are grieving. Having an opportunity to connect and share with them can help on the grief journey.
Care Community is offering an on going Grief Support group will be meeting again . The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 16, 10am in the annex Library. Bob Miller will lead the group.
Bob is a clinical social worker who was the bereavement coordinator for two hospice houses in Lansing as well as a school social worker for 20 years. He has also been on his own grief journey with the death of his wife in 2012.
Come join us in a welcoming, non-judgmental setting, to learn and share with others your journey. It is not just the passage of time, but having opportunities to do the work that allows healing to occur.
