Presented by the “Church as Educator” group

Join us as three individuals talk with us about their native country: how people live and work, what living conditions are like, about their social connections with family and the community, about religious practices, etc.

  • Sunday, October 14 — Nataliya Malaydakh, from Ukraine (student at Olivet College)
  • Sunday, October 28 — Thuc Nguyen, from Vietnam (one of our own!)
  • Sunday, November 11 — Maxwell Nkansah, from Ghana (new pastor at the Olivet Congregational Church)

We will have a potluck supper at 6:00, featuring an entrée from the highlighted country. Please bring a dish to pass. If you like a culinary challenge, find a recipe for a dish from the highlighted country! Then the presentation will begin at 7:00 in the sanctuary, with plenty of time to ask questions.

Please join us and bring your friends. This is sure to be a very interesting series!
