It began as The Mitten Tree. Outreach Board decided they wished to keep the giving tree concept growing. March 2019 we assembled 70 shoeboxes of games, toys, small individual wrapped snacks for our “Shoebox Ministry”, shoe boxes filled with spring break entertainment and distributed thru Eaton Clothing and Furniture Center as well as Siren Eaton Shelter for children not lucky enough for a family vacation over spring break. Starting May 17th, James Leitner will begin a journey backpacking across country to help raise money for the Philadelphia Serengeti Alliance. All donation will go towards repairing broken wells and training communities how to maintain them in the Mara Region of Tanzania.
