We have currently located an interim minister from the UCC to help guide us through our transition period. Rev. Curtis DeMar-Johnson preached for the first time in our sanctuary September 16. He has been both a public school teacher and clergy person and is an internationally published author. He has served churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Michigan. He has enjoyed the calling of both the settled pastor and interim pastor. Office times are Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays. Continue reading

This seminar was a wonderful examination of beliefs and ethical teachings associated with various world religions with the goal of increasing our ability to acquire a greater awareness of and appreciation for the diversity and similarities among the world’s religions. Starting May 17th, James Leitner will begin a journey backpacking across country to help raise money for the Philadelphia Serengeti Alliance. All donation will go towards repairing broken wells and training communities how to maintain them in the Mara Region of Tanzania.
